The experience our dog, Freya, had at the Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock went beyond any expectations I could have ever had for our first time at a pet-friendly hotel in Blowing Rock. Immediately upon check in, I was given a “Doggone Friendly Package” and Freya received all the love from the girls at the front desk.
As long as she was leashed and wearing her Chetola bandana, Freya was welcome in every area of the hotel except for the obvious – the restaurant and pool.
One thing that really stood out about Chetola, was that we could leave Freya crated in the room if we were going somewhere that didn’t allow dogs. We only did this once since all the pet-friendly patio areas at the restaurants in Blowing Rock were closed
